Dot worked for my father, Wilmer C Fields, back in the early 1960s.
Dot took a special interest in me. I remember one Saturday she
took me to the Childrens theater in Nashville . She encouraged
me to write. I had a vivid dream one night in second grade and
wrote a story about the dream. It was a mystery story and included
a sequence of flying over a house. I remember I couldnt
wait to show it to Dot. She was excited about my story. I am 55
years old now and I want you to know I never forgot Dots
smiling face and loving presence in my life.
My thoughts
and prayers are with her family.

Dear Carolyn,
Ann and I were so saddened to learn of your Motherâ€s
passing. She was certainly very successful and accomplished much.
Interesting to note that she designed billboard advertisements
since my Father was in the billboard business in Atlanta and Alabama
for many years. Please know that you and Clem are in our thoughts
and prayers.
Fondly,
Luther
