Subject: Family of Gene Cheek

We were very sorry to hear of Gene's passing!

He was someone I know that Valerie and Vickie will always remember and I wish that Vickie's young daughter could have met! She would have loved to see his tractor and his cows.

He definitely loved to pick at Vic and Val all the time almost as much as Jim did. We were just talking the other day about walking out to Gene and Doris's house to look at the cows and when we stopped to talk to him, one of the girls touched the electric fence. It went through her, to the other and then to me and I was like holy cow and Gene just laughed and laughed and said I bet you will not do that again! He was one of a kind for sure and he will be missed.

I just learned of Gene's passing from computer and we are so sorry.

The last time we saw Gene was at South Macon School back in October. Just know all of you are in our thoughts & prayers at this difficult time.
