Message by Susan Keener Walker

Richard and Bobby Joe and family, I just learned of your mother's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this time. Viewing the
pictures posted online brought back so many memories from long ago, of Aunt Mary and Mother in the kitchen giving "perms" to one another, all the while chattering, laughing and catching up on gossip.

And of their trying to keep us somewhere in the vicinity of "home" as they cooked up marvelous, simple suppers, while we chased one another trying our best to inflict harm on our "cousins". And of how very proud she was of her sons and grandchildren. Life has a way of scattering families from one end of the country to another, and unfortunately we have not been able to keep in contact with one another over the years. But I have fond memories of Aunt Mary and Uncle Basil and you guys. Hope you are doing well. God bless and comfort you. Love, Susan(Keener)Walker and family
