To the family of Crindel Stewart

I
have thought often about Mrs. Stewart throughout the years and
have many fond memories of her.
I began my career as a legal secretary employed by Jeff Townsend
while a senior at Lake Charles High. After graduating from law
school, Jeff Townsend rented office space from Mr. & Mrs.
Stewart at the office on Alamo Street. My office was across the
hall from Mrs. Stewart. As you can imagine, I did not have any
experience with legal matters nor day to day secretarial tasks.
Mrs. Stewart was my salvation. I kept a notebook and each time
I had to ask her assistance I would jot down notes so that I would
not have to constantly interrupt her throughout the day. She was
very kind and patient with me and I learned so much from her.
After I graduated from high school, I continued in the legal field
where I remain today.
Mrs. Stewart will always be in my heart and memory.
My condolences to the family. I am truly sorry for your loss.
I
Georgia A. Welch
