Subject: Cleo Hicks Williams

I would like to offer my sympathy to Cleo ’ s family , and my regrets at not having attended the funeral or offered condolences sooner.

I am a cousin to Van – his father, Lee was my great uncle. I still remember clearly how Cleo played “ The Orange Blossom Special ” at one of Uncle Lee ’ s birthday dinners. I am writing from Kabul, Afghanistan, where I am currently serving with the US Army. She and Van were wonderful folks and a part of my childhood memories – Take care and God bless.
