Jack
Adrian (John Jr.)
Highlands,
NC- Jack took off his chefs hat, hung up his apron and stirred his
last pot of soup, passing away peacefully at home of cancer, surrounded
by his family and loved ones on March 19, 2008. Jack was born August
11, 1948 to John and Eleanor Adrian in Pittsburg, Pa. Weighing in
at 10lbs 11oz. at birth, he continued to live larger than life.
There was always an adventure to be had around every corner.
In 1964, along with his family, he moved to Kingsport, TN and graduated

on Main Street in Highlands. From there, he cooked at numerous local
restaurants and country clubs. Perhaps he was most creative at his

argument to the bitter end, whether or not he was right.

is survived by two sons - Remy of Highlands, NC, and John III (Joanna),
grandson-John IV of Brooklyn, NY. He also leaves behind his beloved
Linda Parrish and her two children, Buddy and Taylor of the home.
