Billie Ruth "Judy" Sanders

Billie Ruth Judy Sanders, was born March 7, 1958 to William A. Sanders and the late Mattie H. Sanders of Franklin, NC.

She attended the public schools of Macon County and was a graduate of Franklin High School. She attended Southwestern Community College where she studied law enforcement and cosmetology.  She was a long time member of Bethlehem Baptist Church (New Bethel Baptist Church). Judy often enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her children whom which she deeply loved.

She departed this life March 23, 2017 at Angel Medical Center in Franklin, NC. She was preceded into death by her mother Mattie H. Sanders and her brother Weldon Hall. Surviving are a daughter, Shanna Sanders; son, Blaine Clark; her father, William A. Sanders; sister, Mary S. Boston; brother, George Hall (Peggy), all of Franklin, NC; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.  

Visitation will be held Saturday April 1st, 2017 from 12 noon until 2 pm at the Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home, 105 W. Main St. Funeral services will follow thereafter at 2 pm with Bishop Adam West and Pastor James Keyth Eddings officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tracy Wright, Charles Freeman, Willis Chavis, Michael Chavis, Eddie Burgess, and Benny Freeman. The family will receive friends at New Bethel Baptist Church, 29 Lake Emory Rd.

The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Hospice of Franklin; the medical staff at Angel Medical Center; and all the people for phone calls, food, and visits.
