Guiqing Wang

Guiqing Wang, 85, of Franklin, NC passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018.  He was born in Baofeng, China.  Mr. Wang was a very loving and caring man, a hard worker, and very independent and strong willed.  He had worked as an electrician in China.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and attended Cowee Baptist Church.   He was married for 60 years to Shuhua Hu, who preceded him in death on March 11, 2017. 

He is survived by two daughters, Chunxi Wang and Fang Wang; two sons, Jeff Wang and Derrick Wang; seven grandchildren and two great‑grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Cowee Baptist Church, with Rev. Jason Smith and Rev. Ronnie Branson officiating.  Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, prior to the service at the Church.
