Jean Bryson Moses, 79, of Franklin passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018. She was born in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late Joseph Taylor and Viola Margaret Tallent Bryson. She was married to Billy U. Moses who preceded her in death in 2003.
Mrs. Moses graduated high school in Japan while her father served in the military. She worked at Blue Bell manufacturing and later worked as a cashier at WalMart. She had a heart of gold and her husband and family were the loves of her life. She loved the Lord. She enjoyed playing bingo, knitting, crocheting, bowling and selflessly caring for others.
Survivors include her son, Larry Moses of Franklin; her daughter, Donna Moses Walker of Franklin; grandchildren, Richard Moses of Cullowhee and Latisha Moses Parker (Andy) of Sylva; four great‑grandchildren, Trenton, Cameron, Aiden and Madilyn and a brother, Ronnie Coffey of Walhalla, SC.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Brandon Breedlove officiating. Burial will follow in Ellijay Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Ashe, Andy Parker, Clay Cogdill, Dewayne Cabe, Colin Bard and Buster Tallent.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 ‑ 7:00 pm at Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home and Crematory.
