Larry Clark Miller

Mr. Larry Clark Miller, 87, of Franklin, NC, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024. He was born on March 29, 1936, in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Hazen Miller and Olive Clark Miller. 

Larry served his country in the U.S. Air Force until 1955, when he was honorably discharged. Larry worked retail from 1956 to 1973. He moved to Fort Myers, Florida in 1967. He served twenty years for Lee County Sheriff's Office in Fort Myers, FL before retiring in 1993 and moving to Franklin, NC. After moving to Franklin, he worked for the Macon County Sheriff's Office for fifteen years before retiring in 2008. Larry helped plan, and oversaw construction of the Law Enforcement Center from 1998-1999. He was very proud of this project. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Loretta Miller. In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Janice Cooper.

Larry is survived by two daughters, Lori Sioch (Paul) of Fort Myers, FL and Lynn Franklin of Otto, NC, and four grandsons, Jordan, C.J., Jacob, and Jesse.

Per his wishes no services will be held.
