Mr. Brandon Nelson Bishop Maddox “Big Thunder” “Fred”, 24, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018.
Brandon was born June 9, 1994 in Fort Payne, Alabama to Gerald B. Maddox and Carol Jean Schmitt Maddox. He loved sports, making and listening to Rap music, and he loved history and all there was to learn from it.
Brandon was also a member of the Rose Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Gerald B. Maddox and Carol S. Maddox both of Franklin; a sister, Brooke Bishop of Gaston, Alabama; a step-brother, Timothy Maddox of Okeechobee, FL; two close friends, Cody Viar (Alysia) and Scott Elliott both of Franklin; and two aunts.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 4, 2018 in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with the Rev. Morris Tippett officiating. Burial will follow in the Iotla United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Cody Viar, Jimmy Williamson, Scotty Elliott, Jake Tallent, Aaron Coin, Jessie Stahl, Logon Dodge, Mark Corbin, and Dalton Rigdon.
