Charles F. (Chuck) Burt passed away peacefully Monday, October 7, 2019 with his devoted wife and niece by his side. 

Chuck was born in Denver, Colorado on June 5, 1932.  He was the son of the late George W. Burt and Frances M. Burt.

He was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army infantry. Chuck was a member of Junaluskee Masonic Lodge #145, Smoky Mountain Shrine Club and The Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite.

Before retiring in 1999, he had a long and accomplished career as a director of Triarc Beverage Group where he was employed for 57 years.

Chuck had the special gift of ease at making friends with complete strangers.

He was much loved by all who knew him and for being a great husband and father.  His bright, energetic and caring presence will be deeply missed.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jan, his daughters, Cindy Salinas, Lizz Torrey (Neil), his son Chuck E. Burt (Deanna), 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren all from So. California, and several nieces and nephews.  His sister, Jacqueline Van Hoose and brother, George W. Burt, Jr precede him in death.

At Chuck's request, a service will not be held.
