Kenneth Ray Fleenor Sr.

Kenneth Ray Fleenor, Sr. 72, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018.

Mr. Fleenor was born September 13, 1945 in Lee Co. Va. to the late El Canor Fleenor and Oda Wheeler Fleenor. Kenneth was in insurance sales and construction work. He loved swimming, walking on the beach, playing softball with his family on Sunday’s but most of all he loved his family and cared for them deeply. Kenneth was also of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Bessie Fleenor of the home; a son, Kenneth Ray Fleenor, Jr. of Savannah, Ga.; a daughter Tina Kent of Chester, S.C.; three grandchildren, Kenra Brooke Bright of Fort Mill, SC, Christian Tyler Fleenor of Fort Mill, SC, and Hannah Noel Fleenor of Savannah, GA.; two brothers, Carl Eugene Fleenor of Big Stone Gap, VA, and Donnie Lee Fleenor of Pilot Mountain, NC.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 2:00 pm  with the Rev. Ronnie Branson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will be private.
