Larry Lon Ammons

Larry Lon Ammons, age 75, of Franklin, NC, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018.  He was born in Macon County, the son of the late Gordon and Sadie Cabe Ammons.  Larry loved to hunt, fish and watch TV.  He was a farmer alongside of his family and was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by two sisters, Jean Doster and Margaret Angel both of Franklin, NC; three brothers, Thomas Ammons, Earl Ammons (Linda) both of Franklin, NC, and Dale Ammons (Gwen) of Asheville, NC; several nieces and one nephew.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home, with Rev. Janet Greene and Rev. Vic Greene officiating.   Burial will be in Clarks Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from  1:00 to 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
