Dear Family,

Mrs. Combs was my labor nurse when my older son was born on the night of October 5,1978. I think that natural childbirth was somewhat new at Angel at the time, but she was very kind and compassionate as we awaited the birth of Josh. I have a vivid memory of her with her hand on me timing my contractions. Her calm, caring demeanor made my first birth experience one that I treasure. She was a wonderful lady, and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Martha Perry Tallent

Wish we could have been there. Mary Lou and Marlin were a real fun couple and we always enjoyed visiting with them. Wish I had spent more time with them while I was younger. Our thoughts and wishes are with you and your family during this time.

Our deepest sympathies,
Dennis, Rorie, Russell, Ruby, and Alex

Combs Family, Please accept our sincere sympathy in the losses of the heads of your family in such a short period of time. I worked with Mary Lou at the hospital for many years as she did a WONDERFUL job. I loved kidding with both of them on SENIOR WEDNESDAYS at the grocery store! They are a loss not only to each of you, but the community as a whole!!

Miss her already. She was a special cousin, always. We never visted her but that
she insisted we have a meal together. She was fun loving and loved her family so
much. She took excellent care of her parents while they were living.

One day we will all have that glad reunion. What a time that will be!
My condolence to all her children. Love you all, wish I could be there.
