I found and read Patti's Obituary about an hour ago... my heart sunk and I've been struggling unsuccessfully to fight back my tears. Years and years ago I met Patti and fell madly in love with her. Shortly after meeting her I was drafted and sent overseas where I learned how to pray and I knew my prayers were heard. Michael Cannon, I can't imagine how you're surviving without Patti. If Carolyn (mom), Bonnie and Joy are alive and well, they may not remember me. I remember all of you and all of our brief moments together. I Love you all. Bob

On Friday, trying to contact Patti's husband O. Michael Cannon I found his obituary from 2021. Since then I've been unsuccessfully searching for a way to talk to Patti's mom Carolyn McVeigh who I knew as Carolyn Chappel back in 1967 or from Bonnie and/or Joy. Please call me or email me, I really need to hear a voice from Patti's family. I still have half a dozen of the last letters from Patti that I've read over and over again.

To Mike and family; Though I only knew Pat briefly, two visits in fact. I knew Mike through his ministry to the Eckerd Living Center. But the last visit touched my heart so as Pat motioned for me to pull up a chair and then said "tell me your story." I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit so powerful. Then as her daughter, Kelly, I believe. Began telling me about her mother. I listened as she laid out years of heart felt ministry. As I prayed and left the room, not because I wanted to but because I knew Pat needed her rest. I said, Lord I know that dear lady made You smile many times, and Lord I hope one day not only you will be that proud of me as your child, but I also hope my daughter will be as proud of her dad as Kelly was her mom. I went back in two days later and headed straight to Pat's room, hoping for a few moments but she had been discharged. I look forward to visiting with Pat some more, when I get home (heaven). May God give you all His peace and comfort. Ralph

To the Family of Pat, deepest sympathy to your family for your recent loss. The Bible indicates that God can help us to endure any challenge we may face (1 Corinthians 1:9). Oftentimes he may use family or friends who share the same pain to assist us. May you draw a measure of comfort from your loved ones and your Creator during this time (1Corinthians 1:3).
