Willie Luther Blocker, Jr., 74, of Franklin passed away Monday, May 14, 2018. He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida to the late Willie Luther Blocker, Sr. and Mary Alice Cone Blocker.
Mr. Blocker was an auto mechanic and he enjoyed working, motorcycles, hunting, and fishing with his grandchildren.
He loved his grandchildren and spending time with them.
Survivors include his wife Rose F. Blocker; daughters, Robin Pilkerton (Charlie Pilkerton II) of Franklin, Angel DeBussey of Franklin; sons, Michael "Tony" Sappe (Sheila Sappe) of Jupiter, FL and Jason Zamperini and wife; grandchildren, Summer Stephens (Ian), Ariana DeBussey, Scott Carey (Jessicca), Charlie Pilkerton III; great‑grandchildren, Michael Norris, Gabriel Norris, Aiyana Goode, Payton Carey, Mason Carey and Orion DeBussey‑Uribe; sisters, Pauline Harris of Crystal River, FL and AnnaBelle Blocker of Ft. Myers, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition, he is survived by his mother‑in‑law, Marian M. Freeman and sister‑in‑law, Barbara Phelps.
The family will hold a memorial service to honor his memory at 4:00 pm, Friday, May 18, 2018 at Oakdale Baptist Church.
