Frank James Farrell

Mr. Frank James Farrell, 66, of Franklin, NC passed away Monday, February 24, 2025. He was born October 24, 1958, to the late James Farrell and Lorraine Ach Farrell in East Northport, New York.

Frank proudly owned and operated F&G Welding for many years, naming it as a tribute to his strong and loving marriage. A highly skilled welder, he earned his nuclear welding certification and took great pride in his work. Frank had a deep passion for NASCAR and stock car racing and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. He also enjoyed hunting and the great outdoors. Above all, Frank was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished every moment spent with his family. Known for his kind heart and generous spirit, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His greatest love was his lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Georgann Farrell; a daughter, Nicole Lui (Michael); a son, Charles Farrell (Jessamyn); two grandchildren, Haddie Farrell and Rowen Farrell; a brother, John Farrell (Leslie); a sister, Patricia F. Clabaugh; mother-in-law, Gloria Burton; sister-in-law, Allyson Sponton (David); and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 28, 2025, at Cowee Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Branson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service at the church.
