Loretta Jean Miller

Loretta Jean Miller, 80, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019. Loretta was born September 4, 1938 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Jerome Glant and Eleanor Eby Glant. She is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Glant.

Loretta worked as an R.N. Nurse for 50 years, including 15 years at Angel Hospital in Franklin, NC. She was a dedicated nurse and worked various roles in the hospital environment.

Loretta is survived by her husband of almost 57 years, Larry C. Miller and their beloved dog Jack. Loretta was a proud mother of two daughters, Lori Anne Miller of Fort Myers, Fla and Lynn Janice Miller-Franklin of Fort Myers Beach, Fla. Four grandsons who she loved dearly, Jordan Miller of Franklin, NC,  C.J. Varner of Fort Myers, Fla., Jacob Franklin of Fort Myers Beach, Fla., and Jesse Franklin of Fort Myers Beach, Fla.

Per Loretta’s wishes, there will not be a service or memorial. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a School of Nursing of your choice.
