Algie Dale McCall, 74, of Franklin, NC, passed away September 1, 2025. He was born August 16, 1951, in Macon County to the late Algie Coolidge McCall and Mary "Betty" Peek McCall.
Dale worked as a lineman for the telephone company for 40 years before retiring. He had a great love for his family; he also loved camping, model airplanes, ham radio, car shows, the Rod Run in Tennessee and Chevrolet Cars. He and Donna they had a passion for the Golden Eagle Jeeps. Dale was a NASCAR fan; he was a good cook and loved Yeti products; he also took a lot of pride in his yard work.
He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Donna McCall; daughter, Amber Nichole McCall (Brandon Hatch); his in-laws, Deborah VanHook (Tommy), Lee Ann Muse, and Michael McDowell (Melanie); and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Ruth McCall and sister-in-law, Gail Peterman.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, September 5, 2025, at 7:00 pm at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Moffitt officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm prior to the service.
