Alice Jewell Bohannon Quinn

Hialeah FL - Alice Jewell Bohannon Quinn, age 84, of Florida died July 12, 2012 at St. Catherine Rehab Hospital of Hileah Gardens FL.

Mrs. Quinn was born June 23, 1928 in Lumber City to the late Austin Columbus Bohannon, Sr. and the late Fare Belle Gilleon Bohannon. She was a member of and employed by First Baptist Church of Franklin N.C. as a Special Events Coordinator. She was also a Homemaker and former kindergarten teacher. She is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 6 sisters, Willie Mae (Bill) Bohannon England, Evelyn (Edd) Bohannon Browning, A.C. Bohannon, Jr., William Jasper (Bud) Bohannon, Owen Dorsey Bohannon, Noretta Bohannon Beall, Jonnie Bohannon Deel, Ethel Bohannon Kilpatrick and Betty Bohannon Towers.

Survivors include Daughter, Karen Quinn & Husband, Gordon Von Nehring of N. Miami Beach, Fl.; Sons, Wes Quinn & Fiance Barbara Durcan of Carlton, Stan Quinn & wife Esther of Danville, Ca. and Calvin Quinn of Carlton; grandsons, Austin Von Nehring and Scott Von Nehring of N. Miami Beach, Fl.; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-7pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11:00AM at Eureka Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Quinn will lie in state one hour prior to service.
