Alice Delonia Sprinkle

Simpsonville SC - Alice Delonia Sprinkle, 87, of Simpsonville, SC, formerly of Franklin passed away Friday at her home. She was born in Graham County, the daughter of the late Ambrose T. and Artie Mae Cable Crisp. She worked as a seamstress and was of the Baptist Faith. She was married to Henry Sprinkle who passed away in 1998. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

Surviving are two daughters, Macey Lester of Simpsonville, SC, and Patty Hirsch of Charlotte, NC, and one son Allen Burr of Myrtle Beach, SC. Thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survive. She was preceded in death by four daughters, Virginia Burr, Jean Sprinkle, Juanita Burr Jones and Janet Burr Hunnicutt; one son Ernest Burr Jr.; one grandchild, Rocky Lindsey; nine sisters, and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday Oct. 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home in Franklin with Tracy Merrill and Eddie Stanberry speaking. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service
