Franklin - Alice Reeves Wooten, 87 of Franklin passes away Saturday, September 25 in a local nursing home. She was a native of Macon County and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Texie Roper Reeves. She was a homemaker and was married to the late Thomas William Wooten. Mrs. Wooten was a member of Mt. Sinai Assemble of God Church. She attended Mashburn Branch Baptist Church and she loved to quilt and gardening.

Surviving are two daughters, Sallie and Rosie Wooten of Franklin, Three sisters,Delia Houston and Lela Watson of Franklin and Rebecca Bateman of Castle Rock Washington, One brother Bill Reeves of Castle Rock Washington. She was preceded in death by 2 sons Thomas Ralph Wooten and Monroe Bateman.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday evening in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev.John Rogers and Rev Alton Dendy officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in the Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery . The family will recieve friends from 6 to 7 PM Sunday evening at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
