Alma Jane Owens

Alma Jane Owens 73, of Clayton, Ga passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021. She was born February 23, 1948 in Rabun County, Georgia to the late Alney Owens and Ruth Chastain Owens. Alma started  working for the company Itron when she was 16 years old and was still employed with the company. She had perfect attendance. She served for the Women's Club at the Satolah Fire Dept. Alma was loved by many.

Alma is survived by her brother, Ellis Owens (Justine) of Arlington, VA; two nieces, Kelli Mullins (John) of Newberry, SC and Elizabeth Owens of Arlington, VA;  two nephews, Thomas Owens (Charlotte Marcus) of Clayton, GA and Clint Owens (Lea) of Clayton, GA; many great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Alma is preceded in death by her brother, Julius Owens.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the Macedonia Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
