Alton Emerson Williamson

Alton Emerson Williamson, 64, of Franklin, NC passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016.  He was born in Macon County, the son of Rose Lee Jones Williamson of Franklin and the late Herschel Williamson.  He was employed by Macon County for 17 years and Nantahala Lumber Company for 17 years.  He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Mr. Williamson is survived, in addition to his mother, by two daughters, Rebecca Michele Henry of Franklin and Amanda Nicole Vernon (Robert) of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Lola Patsy Williamson of Sylva; a brother, Charles Lee "Chuck" Williamson (Lynn) of Raleigh and five grandchildren.
