Amelia Key

Amelia Ann Key, age 63, of Franklin, NC, passed away on October 21, 2019 in Asheville, NC.

She was born July 19, 1956 in Eatonton, Georgia. Ms. Key worked for the Lieutenant Governor’s office in Georgia and the Georgia Workmen’s Compensation Department in Atlanta. She was known as Nana to everyone; Amelia loved to cook and the outdoors. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family on the porch.

Survivors include her daughter, Asia Bowles and her husband, Branden; grandchildren, Jacob “Jake “ Martin and his wife Morgan, Joshua “Josh” Martin and his wife, Kayla, Mary Bowles, and Braylon Bowles; a great-granddaughter, Henley Brooke Martin; a sister, Trudy Williams; and three brothers, Allen Key, Tommy Key, and John Key.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.  Burial will be private.
