Andrew Jackson Picklesimer

Highlands, NC - Andrew Jackson Picklesimer, 63, of Highlands passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015. Born in Macon Co., he was the son of the late Alfred and Katherine Talley Picklesimer. He was a supervisor at Macon County's recycling center. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of Shortoff Baptist Church.

Mr. Picklesimer is survived by his wife of 28 years, Romonia Talley Picklesimer; one daughter, Christy Rhoden and husband Thomas of Clearwater, SC; one step daughter, Samantha Phillips and husband Matthew of Highlands; one sister, Genevieve Rogers and husband Larry of Highlands; five grandchildren, Catilan, Paige, Rose, Memphis and Mitchell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Gearce Picklesimer and two grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Andrew.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
