Anna Valo

Franklin - Anna Valo, age 92, of Franklin, NC passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at a Sylva Nursing Home. She was born in Tr.Tepla, Slovakia the daughter of the late Ondrej and Alzvbeta Pitlikova Pitlik. She was married to the late Josef Valo, who was a Lutheran Minister. She worked with the Allied Forces in WWIl as a nurse.

She is survived by a daughter, Viola M. Thorne and her husband, Bruce of Franklin, NC; two grandchildren, Henrich and Sylvia. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sylvia Kubickova and Susie Kosutova.
