Annie Louise Cline McFalls, 79, of Bryson City passed away Monday, December 21, 2015. Born in Swain County, she was the daughter of the late George and Pearl Wiggins Cline. She had worked at Tuckasegee Mill as an inspector. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed keeping her grandchildren, painting and taking pictures. She was a hard worker. She was a member of Bethabara Church in Birdtown.
Mrs. McFalls is survived by her husband, George E. McFalls of Franklin; five sons, William Murphy, Larry Murphy, James Murphy (Fern), Mike Murphy and Joey Murphy (Connie); three sisters, Georgia Bell Hutchins, Jacky Joe Woodard and Nellie Thomas; 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Murphy.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2:30 pm at Crisp Funeral Home in Bryson City with Rev. Charles Ray Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Birdtown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Murphy, Larry Murphy, James Murphy, Michael Murphy, Don Woodard and Chris Johnson. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 - 2:30, prior to the service at the funeral home.
