Anzil Sanford Bryson

Highlands, NC - Anzil Sanford Bryson, age 84, of Highlands, NC, formerly of Rock Hill, SC passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014. He was born in Macon County, the son of the late Arthur and Viola Vincent Bryson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Bryson. He was a retired machine operator for General Tire, he loved blue grass music and clogging, and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by a daughter, Diane Moss and her husband John of Yellow Mountain, a son Wayne Bryson and his wife Ann of Yellow Mountain; two sisters, Wilma Reed of Highlands, NC and Doris Tallent of Gastonia, NC; two brothers, Fred Bryson of Gastonia, NC and Dennis Bryson of Rock Hill, SC; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.

A graveside service will be held Monday, January 27th at 2:00 pm at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Keith Ashe officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Sunday evening at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home in Highlands.
