Arthur Lesher Green, Jr.

Mr. Arthur Lesher Green, Jr. 91, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025.

Mr. Green was born December 23, 1933, in Macon, Co. NC to the late Arthur Lesher Green, Sr. and Annie Lou Pressley Green.  Mr. Green worked and retired from Beldon Electric, was co-owner of G&L Moters, and Rainbow Raceway on Potts Branch Rd. He loved stock car racing and the Atlanta Braves Baseball team. He was a member of the Louisa Chapel Methodist Church. Arthur was a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving in Korea.

Mr. Green was a quiet man and a man who loved his family, and the Lord.

Survivors include his sons, Larry E. Green (Peggy), and Richard "Ricky" Green (Pat); a stepson, Greg Allen of Otto, NC; four grandchildren, Mitchel Green, Brittany Irwin, Morgan Bingham, and Amber Allen; and numerous step-grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Rogers and Sue Blaine; and a brother, Jerry Green.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Green was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Bradley Green in 2012; his first wife, Virginia Swanson Casada in 2021; a grandson, Adam Green; two sisters, Janet Teem and Frankie Green; and a brother, Bob Green.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Stewart and Rev. Randy Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends 10:30-11:45 AM prior to the service.
