Barbara Britton Holland

Franklin, NC and Decatur, GA - Barbara Britton Holland, age 73, of Decatur, GA, formerly of Franklin, NC passed away, Sunday, May 6, 2012. Born in Macon County she was the daughter of the late Raymond N. and Exie Estelle Duvall Britton. She was married to the late Watsel Lee Holland who died in 1978.

Mrs. Holland was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her grandchildren very much and loved working in her yard.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis Holland of Decatur, GA and Michael Keith Holland and wife Dawn of Winder, GA; two sisters, Estelle Britton and Shelby Jean Shuler and three grandchildren, Josh Holland, Cody Holland and Michael Saemisch.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Wiley Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
