Barbara "Joyce" Howard

Franklin, NC - Barbara "Joyce" Howard, 67, of Bryceville passed away October 15, 2010. She was born January 10, 1943 in Tifton, Georgia to Billy and Wedes Bannister. Barbara is retired from Winn-Dixie, and she enjoyed spending time with her family, being a Georgia-Bulldog fan, traveling and going to Cracker-Barrel to eat.

She is survived by her two sons, J. P. (Ginny) Howard and Jeff (Brandy) Howard of Hilliard; one brother, Bobby Bannister of Jacksonville; one sister Billie Faye Odom of Hilliard and four grandchildren, Cory, Faith, Lindsay and Jessica.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 18, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held October 20, 2010 at Mulberry United Methodist Church in Otto, North Carolina at 11:00 a.m with Rev. Duane Corle officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
