Barbara Jean Hurst

Franklin, NC - Barbara Jean Hurst, age 62, of Franklin, NC, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012. She was a native of Macon County, the daughter of the late Junior and Pearl Russell Webb. She was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother. She loved to take pictures and spending time with family, she was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband of twenty years, John C. Hurst; a daughter, Selena Lakey of Franklin, NC; two sons, John Webb and wife Jennifer of Sylva, NC and Brannin Lakey, Jr. and wife Rebecca of Knoxville, TN; five grandchildren, Daniel, Abigail, Kaitlyn, Noah, and Logan also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12th at 2:00 pm at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to the service at the Church.
