Barbara Carlene Majszack

Barbara Carlene Majszak, 84, of Franklin, NC took her heavenly flight home Wednesday, April 15, 2020. Carlene was born to the late Henry McCall and Nobia Southards McCall on June 17, 1935 in Macon County, NC. Being a homemaker, Barbara liked to sew and spend time with her family. She loved her church and was a member of Rose Creek Baptist Church. Being known as an awesome story teller, each year she would narrate the Christmas and Easter Programs.

Barbara is survived by her son, Jack Stoops of Columbiaville, MI; three grandchildren, Zachariah Stoops of TX, Noah Stoops of MI and Jarred Stoops of MI; four great-grandchildren and a brother, Mike Tessman of Waterford, MI. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Stoops and her second husband, Emil Majszak; a daughter, Brenda Lewis and is now reunited with her granddaughter, Tammy Duggar.

Mrs. Majszak will lie in state from 12:00pm-5:00pm Friday, April 17, 2020 in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.  A private funeral service will be held Saturday, April 18, 2020. Burial will be in the Rose Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
