Barry Melling

Franklin, NC - Barry Melling, age 68, of Ruby Holland Rd., Franklin, NC passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011 at his residence. Born in Chester, PA he was the son of Alexander Dinzdale Melling, Jr. and Mary Virginia Simpson Melling of Ashton, PA. He worked for Ingles in the produce department and was the first director for Macon County EMS.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Shirley Ann Connor Melling; three daughters, Connie James of New Port Richey, FL; Dawn Paulett Spath of Tallahassee, FL and Charmaine Connor of Seattle, WA; two sons, Barry Melling, Jr. and Neil Melling both of New Port Richey, FL; a stepson, Robert Connor of Detroit, MI and one sister, Judy Neff of Booth Wayne, PA.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
