Betty Ann Bell, 82, of Hendersonville, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025. She was born September 11, 1942, in Macon County, NC to the late J. R. Bell and Grace Norton Bell. Miss Bell was a teacher for 30 years, teaching in Henderson and Transylvania Counties. She earned her bachelor's degree in education at Western Carolina University and was a member of Coweeta Baptist Church. She loved her family especially her nephews. She loved traveling, cooking and was a professional shopper, she liked to find deals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dot Roberts and Sue Bell Nicholson.

She is survived by her sister, Sally Gilbert (Ricky); brother-in-law, Nicky Roberts; nephews, Mark Roberts, Jay Roberts (Krista), Ryan Gilbert, Reilly Gilbert, and Chris Gilbert (Mandy); great-nieces and nephews, Jackson Roberts, Cameron Roberts, Dean Roberts, Ryanne Roberts, Hayden Gilbert and Annalee Gilbert.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 3:00 pm, at Mulberry United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chris Gilbert officiating.
