Betty (Pearson) Bolick

Mrs. Betty Carlene Bolick, 91, went home to be with the Lord, May 4, 2024. Mrs. Bolick was born February 14, 1933, in Macon, Co. NC to the late James Pearson and Grace Elizabeth Calloway Pearson.

She was married to the late Clyde Bolick who preceded her in 2006. Mrs. Betty was a longtime member of Prentiss Baptist Church. She loved her children, grandchildren, family, and church family. Her greatest love was her Lord and Savior Jesus. Betty loved Southern Gospel Music, traveling, camping, and her dog, "Chloe".

Survivors include her children, Brenda Phillips, Barbara Cabe (Doug), Mary Walling (Joe), Diane Dodge, and Bruce Bolick (Elaine); six grandchildren, Angela Schwiers, Drew Phillips, Brent Cabe, Amanda Walling, Dean Dodge, and Victoria Carnes; ten great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Bolick was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Delbert Phillips and Dean Dodge; and a granddaughter, Alicia Cody.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 Am Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Stephens and Rev. Phillip Cochran officiating. Burial will follow at Buck Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Monday evening at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Brent Cabe, Drew Phillips, Dean Dodge, Robert Carnes, J B Schwiers, and Diamond Stone.
