Franklin,N.C. - Betty Elizabeth Cochran , 78 , of Franklin, NC passed away on February 7, 2015 at Mission Campus in Asheville.Mrs Cochran was born and raised in Madison County, but lived most of her life in Macon County. She was the daughter of William H. and Helen Wyatt Caldwell. She was married to William J. Cochran , who died in 2005. She worked at the Blue Bell Undergarment's , was a loving mother, grandmother , great grandmother, and she loved to flea market.

She is survived by two sisters, Eller Caldwell of Madison County, NC and Mickey Caldwell of Denton , NC; three grandchildren, William J. Cochran and wife Rebecca , Adam A. Cochran , Amy R. Byrd ; four great grandchildren, William T. Cochran , Taylin E. Cochran , Morgan F. Byrd , Madison H. Byrd; daughter in law, Rebekah Cochran.
She was preceded in death by a son, William McKinley Cochran.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday , Feburary 10, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with the Rev. David Williams, Rev. Roy Lowe and Rev. Wesley Price officiating. Pallbearers will be Ray and Bobby Sanders , Donald Messer, William J. Cochran ,Charlie Byrd, Jamie Cochran and Steve Carpenter. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 10 from 1:00 2:00pm, one hour prior to the service.
