Betty Lee Davis, 87, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at her home in Franklin. Ms. Davis was born January 16, 1932 in New Athens, Ohio to the late John Noble Cannon and Olive Wilder Cannon.

Ms. Davis was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She loved gardening, reading, watching westerns and old John Wayne movies.

Ms. Davis is survived by four daughters; Jeannie Hoskins of Franklin, NC, Susan Jordan of Salisbury, NC, Brenda Lopez of West Palm Beach, FL, and Linda Diaz of Riverview, FL, three sons; Wallace Davis, Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL, Jim Davis of Valdosta, GA and John Davis of Royal Palm, FL. 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. One sister, Barbara Michniak of Stephen City, VA and two brothers; Alfred Cannon of Tuscarawas, OH and Ed Cannon of Panama City, FL. In addition to her parents, Ms. Davis was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Wallace Davis, Sr., granddaughter, Destiny Lee Davis and great-great grandson, Bryson Luther Carey.

A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made of choice to the Cowee Volunteer Fire Department or Hospice.
