Betty Sue Suttles

Franklin, NC. - Betty Sue Suttles, age 83, of Maple Breeze Lane, Franklin, NC passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in a Hayesville care facility. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late William and Beta Dills Tilson. She was married to Mack Suttles, who passed away December 22, 2010, for 63 years. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Betty was a loan officer for thirty years, first at Bank of Franklin then First Union Bank and finally Wachovia Bank. She was a member of Nequassa Chapter Order of Eastern Star for fifty years.

She is survived by one son, Mike Suttles of Franklin, NC and two grandsons, Cary Suttles of Charlotte, NC and Chris Suttles of Fort Meade, MD. Three great-grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 16, 2011 at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Rogers and Rev. Johnny Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:30 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
