Beulah Anniemae Johnson Buchanan

Franklin, NC - Beulah AnnieMae Johnson Buchanan, age 88, of Franklin, NC, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014. She was born in Jackson County, NC, the daughter of the late Luther Joel and Bertha Morgan Johnson. She was a homemaker, she loved to quilt, can, gardening and flowers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, she loved everyone and never met a stranger. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Molton Buchanan, who died in 1998 and a daughter, Carol Buchanan.

She is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Shelton of Franklin, NC and Lynn Gerrish of Travelers Rest, SC; four sons, Leon Buchanan of Williamston, SC, Bruce Buchanan and Mark Buchanan both of Franklin, NC and Benny Buchanan of Oakdale, TN; a sister, Birdell Clouse and a brother, Howard Johnson of Franklin, NC; eighteen grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, with Rev. Tommy Fouts, Rev. Steve Reeves, and Rev. David Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shawn Shelton, Patrick Shelton, Joseph Buchanan, Ethan Price, Tyler Shelton, Richard Grace, Jerry Stillwell, and Matt Koelper.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Saturday evening at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
