Billy Ray Elliott

Billy Ray Elliott, age 63, of Franklin, NC, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016.  He was born in Peoria County, Illinois, the son of the late Ernest Elliott and Alice Willmon Elliott.  He had worked at Whitley and CR Industries, he loved to camp and build campfires and tell real life stories. He loved to watch SiFi, monster movies, and classic movies but most of all he loved being with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Deborah Stallcup Elliott; three daughters, Tiffany "Nickey" Elliott and Amanda Lackey both of Franklin, NC and Maleigha Swartz (Charles) of West Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren, Shawna Burrell, Kieara Elliott, Billy Lackey and Gabby Lackey; brothers, Marvin Elliott of Flat Rock, AL, Randy Elliott, Charles Elliott and Tracy Elliott of Bryant, AL.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Elliott.

A private Celebration of Life was held by the family to remember the life lived by Mr. Elliott.
