Bonita Grace (Sellers) Phillips

Ms. Bonita Grace Sellers Phillips, 73, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025. Ms. Phillips was born March 5, 1952, in Brewton, Alabama to the late James Allen Sellers, Jr. and Clara Madden Sellers.

Bonita worked in a sewing factory and did multiple jobs to provide for her family. She loved to clean and get things organized. She was a Godly woman and loved to witness the love of Christ to others. She was of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors include her two daughters, Bonnie Lynn Howell (Danny) and Shelley Ann Murray; a son, John Glynn Phillips; three sisters, Jewell Phillips, Barbara Phillips, and Mary Carroll; and two granddaughters, Alexandria Phillips and Autumn Phillips.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by four sisters, Marilyn Howard, Helen Smith, Caroline Sellers, and Shirley Watson, and a brother, Tommy Sellers.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rush Cemetery.
