Britty Leona Beasley

Franklin, NC - Britty Leona Beasley, age 95, of Otto, NC passed away Monday, July 22, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Clay County, NC the daughter of the late Andrew and Bashey McCall Webb. She was married to Joseph Asbury Beasley who passed away in 1968. She was a homemaker and a member of Newman Chapel Baptist Church. She was a loving mother grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She loved gardening, cooking and her grandchildren.

She is survived by four daughters, Arizona Beasley McCracken of Clayton, GA, Betty Jane Beasley White and husband Joseph of Clarksville, GA, Jessie Faye Vickery and husband, Ken of Thomason, GA and Charity Beasley of Otto, NC; four sons, Clyde P. Beasley and fiancée, Rita Rowland of Otto, NC, Benjamin Beasley of Bryson City, NC, Steve Beasley and wife Connie of Clayton, GA and Jimmy Beasley of Otto, NC; one sister Ada Marsangill of Clarksville, GA. Thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Annie Evelyn Carroll; a son, James Andrew Beasley and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 24 at 11:00 AM at Newman Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Burrell and Rev. Kenneth Vickery officiating. Burial will be held at Mulberry United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Garrett Jones, Jonathan Gibson, Tommy Webb and Greg Talley. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 23 from 6:00 8:00PM at Bryant Grant Funeral Home where the body will remain until placed in the Church thirty minutes prior to the service.
