Bruce Lee Mccormick

Mr. Bruce Lee McCormick, 74, of Franklin, NC passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024. He was born February 5, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to the late Luther McCormick and Anna Crites McCormick.

Mr. McCormick was a devoted Christian and a loving partner, father, and grandfather.  He worked in law enforcement for 39 years in Marion County, FL, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander. He was very proud of his career. He loved to fish and was a soft-spoken man of few words, but when he spoke, he meant everything he said.  His last wishes were that he would live at his lake home on Nantahala Lake.

Mr. McCormick is survived by his life partner, Joyce Howland; daughter, Bridget Rickman (David); son, Brent McCormick; grandchildren, Luke Rickman and Mallory Rickman; and a sister, Beverly Leslie (Jim).
