Hayesville, NC - Carol Suzanne Ritzman Kirk, age 84, of Hayesville, NC passed away Saturday, July 27 at her residence. She was born in Toledo, OH, the daughter of the late Walter W. and Stella Coen Ritzman. She was married 61 years to James Ezra Kirk, Jr. who passed October 15, 2011. She was a dental hygienist for 30 years with Dr. Archie Kline in Toledo, OH. She was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority at Ohio State University and was a member of the Hayesville First United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia K. Beumel and her husband Nicholas of Toledo, OH and her son, James E. Kirk III and his wife Janice of Swanton, OH; a granddaughter, Amy Katherine Lombardi and her husband Jeff of Columbus, OH; a great grandson, Ezra David Lombardi; a brother, Walter Ritzman of Estes Park, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Wilma Jane Geddis and Florence Meredith.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11:00AM at Hayesville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Kirk Hatherly officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the Church.
