Catharine Baker

Franklin & Weaverville, NC - Catharine Baker, age 95, of Weaverville, NC formerly of Franklin, NC passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Brian Center Health & Rehabilitation in Weaverville. She was born in Jackson Co., NC, the daughter of the late Henry Vinegum. She was married to the late Woodrow Baker. She worked at People’s Department Store, at Burlington, VanRaalt and several restaurants in Franklin. She was a member of Franklin First Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, June 09, 2013 at 3:00PM at Woodlawn Cemetery with Dr.Robert Brown officiating.

She is survived by her daughter, Launa Ball and her husband, Jerry of Weaverville, NC; her grandchildren, Darrin Ball and wife Dana of Mills River, NC and Shannon Hagan and husband Pat of Harrisburg, PA; her great-grandchildren, Sydney Ducker, Tate Ducker, Nathan Ball and Rachel Ball.
