Charles David Morgan

Topton, NC - Charles David Morgan, 63, of Nantahala passed away December 14, 2013. Born in Macon Co., he was the son of the late Benjamin and Zelma May Morgan. David was a warrior for the Lord; he was a member of Bethel Hill Baptist Church.

David is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sheila Passmore Morgan. He was the beloved dad of Tina Morgan Cox and her husband Ron of Thomasville, NC; two step-daughters, Christy Campbell of Nantahala and Tina Campbell of High Point, NC; one step-son, Jamie Campbell of Robbinsville, NC; two sisters, Dora Lee Wishon of Jamestown, NC and Josephine Mason of High Point, NC; one granddaughter, Subrena Sheppard and one grandson, Dustin Sheppard both of Thomasville, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Jean Grant and three brothers, David, Daniel and Jimmy Morgan.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Bethel Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Dockery and Rev. Eugene Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Junior Passmore, Bobby Gato, Jason Wood, Ron Cox, Kenneth Passmore and T. J. Carver. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Sheppard, Matthew McMahan, R. J. McMahan and Jacob McMahan.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Bethel Hill Baptist Church.
