Charles Robert Norris Maybury

Highlands, NC -Charles Robert Norris Maybury, Jr, age 75, of Glen Falls Road, Highlands, NC passed away August 18, 2008 at a Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC. He was born in Union County, NJ the son of Charles Robert Norris Maybury, Sr and Henrietta R. Bell Maybury. He was married to the late Mary Ratliff who passed away Januray 2007. He was a US Airforce Veteran during the Korean Conflict and was former owner of The Cheese Shoppe in Highlands, NC. Mr. Maybury was a former member of the Highlands Rotary and the JC Club.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Hunter and Dale Walker of Dillard, GA; two grandchildren, James Michael Hunter and Amanda Rose Talley. Two great-grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 20 at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home in Highlands with Chaplain Martha Porter officiating.
